Nate and Luke

As you all know I always have my camera with me to capture each moment I can! I especially love to shoot my two nephews Nathan and Luke. They are growing up so fast, it seems like just yesterday I was driving home from JMU to go see Nathan for the first time. I want to be able to look back at all the pictures and have the aww moment every time I look back. Here are a few more that I'm gonna add to that photo album...

Sherry's Retirement Party

Earlier in the month Sherry, my mom's best friend, and my second mother, as I like to say, had her Retirement Party at Burkwood. Sherry work for 31 years as a visual aide teacher in Hanover County! Since, she has been around for all of my life, and I would always here her talk about her students and how special each and everyone was to her. Well, a few weeks ago I finally got to put faces to the names that I have heard for so many years. At her party she have former/ current students show up, former/ current co-works, family, and friends come to celebreate her career. Her husband Frankie asked me to take some picutes of this occation and here are some of the ones that I took...

Hope you enjoy!

* I didn't post any of the pictures of her students because I didn't get any writen concent to post them, but I hope you enjoyed the ones that I did take!

Maymont Park

A few weeks ago, Nathan and his class went to a local park here in Richmond. While we were at Maymont Park we went to petting zoo portion of the park. All the kids had a blast seeing all the different animals. The Black Bear was probably the biggest hit with all of the kids.

On a side note, I would love to do an engagement shoot at this place. It has so many different landscapes that would make up for a perfect place to shoot a couple in love!

This is the progression of Luke trying to get on a bench all by himself!
